Hey there! I’m Alex Morgan, and I’ve been living in San Francisco since 2020. When I first arrived in this beautiful, expensive, chaotic city, I had big dreams and a very small bank account. Rent was shocking. Groceries were expensive. Even a cup of coffee felt like a financial decision.
I spent my first year figuring out how to actually survive in SF without going broke. I found cheap neighborhoods nobody talks about. I discovered farmers markets where $30 lasts a whole week. I learned which BART passes save you the most, and which side hustles actually pay in this city.
